Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Student Counsellor to guide students through their study abroad journey. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a genuine interest in helping students make informed academic and career decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities.
Understand students' academic backgrounds and career goals.
Recommend suitable universities and courses.
Assist students with applications and admissions processes.
Guide students through visa requirements and documentation.
Follow up with prospective students and maintain relationships.
Coordinate with universities and partner institutions.
Maintain accurate student records and CRM data.
Achieve monthly enrolment and conversion targets.
Provide exceptional customer service to students and parents.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
Minimum of 1 year experience in study abroad student counselling.
Knowledge of UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada markets.
Experience with visa applications and university admissions.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
